SERIES, DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS AND COMPLEX FUNCTIONS

This book is a revised and somewhat expand edition of Vidergående Matematik, the first edition of which appeared in 1960. The Danish book was originally written for a one-year course given by the authors for chemists, biochemists, and M.D.’s doing basic research.

The course for which the book was originally designed had the specific purpose of providing the necessary mathematical back-ground for further studies and research in physical chemistry and biophysics. Since the book has in fact also been used in other course, we have now added material which we believe will make it more generally useful.
