Έχοντας επίγνωση της αξίας του βιβλίου, οι Πανεπιστημιακές Εκδόσεις Κρήτης και η επιστημονική ομάδα που ανέλαβε τη μετάφρασή του, δεν εφείσθησαν προσπαθειών, ώστε η ελληνική του έκδοση να μην υστερεί σε τίποτα έναντι εκείνης του πρωτοτύπου. Chapter 5, on universal enveloping algebras, provides the abstract concepts underlying representation theory.
