LABORATORY MANUAL IN
BIOCHEMISTRY

This manual is a laboratory guide in biochemistry that has been intended for imparting the medical and pharmaceutical students a practical skill in the performance of biochemical experiments which may prove to be useful in their future professional occupations. Presented in the manual are standard experimental procedures, rapid test methods and screening tests currently used in the clinic and pharmacy. A special concern has been to describe procedures and techniques employed in obtaining biological materials and their preparation for biochemical experiments. The laboratory manual is supplemented with an appendix in which given are reference tables of biochemical constants and practical recommendations for preparation of chemical reagents.
