The purpose of this book remains the same as for earlier editions: to provide an introduction to differential equations and linear algebra that takes advantage of the interplay between the two subjects. Linear and matrix algebra are useful tools in both theoretical and computational aspects of deferential equations. This is especially true in the study of linear systems of differential equations. O the other hand, they provide examples and applications of many concepts of linear algebra.
