COMPUTATIONAL METHODS FOR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

“Computational methods for partial differential equations” is an appropriate text book for a first course on numerical methods for partial differential equations. The book is largely self-contained. About 100 problems have been completely solved. Some of the special features of the book are the inclusion of some recently developed difference methods and multigrid methods for elliptic boundary value problems.
