"The problem of doubling the cube (or the Fool's problem) has occupied mathematicians for many centuries. The Ancient Greek mathematicians, after realizing the impossibility of solving with the rule and the diphthong, devised other ingenious methods of solving using various curves (differentials of the circle). They even devised solutions using kinetic geometry."
