This book refers to the atrocities (executions and torture of civilians of all ages) by the Germans, Italians, Bulgarians and Albanians as well as to all kinds of destruction, looting and theft, as derived from various Press Releases of the Greek Ministries of 1946. Purpose of the writing is for its readers to acquire a general and not a detailed knowledge of the events it deals with, which is, however, necessary for historical and didactic reasons.
