This book is addressed to 3rd year high school students, but also to fellow Mathematicians (since it includes a large and original collection of exercises). It is written based on the new syllabus provided for this class (1992-1993) and includes

the first part of mathematical analysis (functions - limits of functions).

The book consists of three chapters (Miscellaneous reminders, completions - Real functions - Limit of a function). Each chapter contains two groups of exercises, the difficulty of which is determined by two, three or four asterisks. At the end of the book there is another group of general exercises.

  Emphasis is placed on exercises unknown in the Greek literature and on subjects of various exams and competitions (French Baccalaureate , exams of the Universities of Cambridge , London , Oxford , Moscow , Bucharest , etc., G. Putnam competition, Olympiad competitions, E.M.E competitions etc. ) .
