SOLID GEOMETRY

The book presents a concise but complete account of the basic concepts of three-dimensional geometry, it starts wit an introduction to the Cartesian Co-ordinate system of three dimensions and elementary concepts of the plane and the line, and encounters the notion of the sphere, the cone and the cylinder. Ite explains in detail a study of Central Conicoids. It discusses also some specific types of plane curves like “similar and similarly situates”. The subject matter of the book has been presented in a simple and lucid style so that the average student can understand it. A large number of worked out exercises will help the students understand the basic concepts of the subject. To make certain proofs shorter, the authors have used matrix theory.
