The book discusses the phenomena, builds models and brings out various quantitative relations in the form of mathematical equations Electrochemistry has been treated without going into the electroanalytical techniques that are found in most books. It is believed that students should be conducting these experiments in the laboratory. Experimental outlines are given in those cases where the students will not have access to the tools.

This book is mainly intended for the undergraduate students with chemistry as the main subject and can also be used in the IITs for the first chemistry course.
