ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE

This book deals with an up-to-date presentation of both theoretical and applied aspects of analysis of variance in univariate and multivariate cases. Various designs are explained with live data from different applied fields. The materials presented here are developed from the lecture notes of a one semester course at the graduate level on analysis of variance which I presented several times at the University of Montreal, and in parts at the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta, Forschungsinstitut der Mathematik, the University of Arizona and Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. Each chapter contains numerous related problems, complete references and worked out examples. The exercises of chapters 6 and 7 on multivariate analysis of variance also contain analogous result for the complex multivariate normal populations.
