The purpose of this book is to present to the general readership the natural scientists of Ancient Greece, i.e. the physicists with the object of research and study of matter (and its changes), movement and energy, as well as the naturalists (botanists, zoologists, mineralogists). Physicists also include the forerunners of the Humetics, the Humetics (humicist instead of the incorrect chemist).
